Happy New Year! It is with great joy and excitement that I welcome you to the January 2025 issue of WOW! Magazine. We are thrilled to bring WOW! Magazine back to you, and we are committed to delivering the quality Christian lifestyle magazine you’ve come to know and love. Moving forward, you can look out for us quarterly—in January, April, July, and October—as we continue to share stories that uplift your spirit and strengthen your walk with Jesus Christ.
Additionally, we are proud to share the creation of Word Girlz, our 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to empower women and girls through the written word to cultivate their voices, strengthen their faith, and make a transformative impact in their communities. Word Girlz embodies the spirit of WOW! Magazine, and we look forward to sharing more about its initiatives and programs in future issues.
This January issue is packed with incredible features and stories! Our cover story shines a spotlight on the legendary gospel recording artist, Lady Tramaine Hawkins. In an exclusive interview with our Music Editor, George Ward, Lady Tramaine shares her powerful story of faith, perseverance, and music ministry. It’s a testimony you won’t want to miss!
Our WOWderful Woman column features Tonya Hill Mitchell from Birmingham, Alabama. Tonya is the heart and soul behind Diane’s Heart, an amazing non-profit organization dedicated to serving single women and their families. Her impactful work in her community is a beautiful example of faith in action. We are also excited to feature 21-year-old Damacia Howard, who spoke with Regina D. Wells about her amazing experiences in pageantry and her many other accomplishments. Damacia’s journey is a shining example of perseverance, grace, and the power of pursuing your dreams.
In addition to these powerful features, we’re blessed to have a wonderful lineup of talented contributors who have poured their hearts into each word!
If you’d like to be a part of our journey, we’d love to hear from you. We’re always looking for readers to feature in our Reader Profile, as well as WOWderful Women who are making a difference in their businesses, ministries, or communities. If that sounds like you or someone you know, please reach out to us! Thank you for welcoming us back into your lives. May this year bring you peace, joy, and abundant blessings.
Stay WOWderful and be sure to share WOW! Magazine with your friends, family, and community. Go to our website – wowmagazine.org – to sign up for our email list so that you don’t miss any issues!
