Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, Kendra was raised in a staunch Christian home where both parents were preachers. She received Christ as her personal Savior at the age of twelve, and by the time she was twenty-one, she, too, had accepted her calling into ministry.
Kendra is an honor graduate of St. Thomas Christian University where she received her Doctor of Divinity degree in Religious Studies. Kendra is a member of two professional businesswomen’s organizations: Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Inc. and Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. In addition, she is the visionary of a groundbreaking Greek letter fellowship called Rho Alpha Tau, Incorporated. Founded on January 15, 2023, it is the only known nationally recognized co-ed, multicultural Greek letter organization in the world that is set in place specifically for Christian creatives.
Kendra Norman Holmes is the multi-award winning, eight-time national bestselling author of nearly two dozen faith-based books. She is the CEO of Royalty Ministries International, Inc., a five-fold parent-ministry that houses all of her entrepreneurships, including Royalty Publications, LLC (an independent publishing house for Christian books), The Royal Trumpet (a seasonal online newspaper that shares inspirational news and information), and “The W.A.R. Cry with Dr. K” (which began as a gospel radio program but is changing to a weekly podcast in 2025).
Dr. Kendra Norman Holmes is the devoted wife of Dr. Michael Holmes, and she serves as the senior pastor of Deliverance Revival Church in Macon, Georgia. With a powerful overcoming testimony of her own, she is often called on to speak and minister in conferences and retreats. Kendra resides in Central Georgia where she and her husband share three adult children and nine grandchildren.
